滋賀県では最も規模の大きい、琵琶湖畔での花火大会「びわ湖大花火大会」が今週末開催されます。

◆2025びわ湖大花火大会◆
・開催日時：2025年8月8日（金）19:30〜20:30
・会場：大津港周辺のびわ湖畔、なぎさ公園など
・アクセス：JR琵琶湖線大津駅から徒歩約15分、京阪電車びわ湖浜大津駅から徒歩約5分
※当館（JR長浜駅）からは、電車乗り換え無しで約50分。帰りは混みますが、行きはそんなに混まないはずです！
※当日、高速のSAは閉鎖されるようです。観覧希望の方は、素直に会場へ向かうのが吉ですよ〜
・花火のテーマ、種類、打ち上げ予定数：いこうぜ♪滋賀・びわ湖～輝く湖上大花火～スターマイン、3～10号玉 約10,000発

長浜の花火大会は、木之本で8月下旬、旧市街地の琵琶湖畔で9月中旬に開催予定です！

Summer vacation is in full swing!
One of the biggest fireworks festivals in Shiga Prefecture, the Biwako Great Fireworks Festival, will be held this weekend by the shores of Lake Biwa.
◆ 2025 Biwako Great Fireworks Festival ◆
・Date & Time: Friday, August 8, 2025, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
・Venue: Around Otsu Port, Nagisa Park, and the Lake Biwa waterfront
・Access:
- About 15 minutes on foot from JR Biwako Line Otsu Station
- About 5 minutes on foot from Keihan Electric Railway’s Biwako-Hamaotsu Station
- From our hotel (near JR Nagahama Station), it’s about 50 minutes by train with no transfers.
- Trains may be crowded on the way back, but not too bad on the way there!
- Note: Highway service areas (SA) will be closed on the day of the event, so heading directly to the venue is your best bet.
